Yoga (all levels) + Restorative Yoga
Come wake up your body, settle your mind and find your breath for an invigorating and refreshing session. The class is comprised of warm ups, a yoga set of fluid breath, synchronized with a Hatha flowing practice designed to build strength, balance and flexibility. This is a powerful way to consciously prepare yourself to go forth and be centered in handling any challenge.
Restorative Yoga is gentle and profound. With the use of props, blankets and more, restorative poses are held for several minutes at a time and have an ability to leave the yogi feeling nourished and well rested as it promotes the effects of conscious relaxation. During this deep relaxation all the organs of the body benefit. Improvement in digestion, insomnia, and muscle tension may also be experienced. This class is suitable for all levels of experience.
Brandy has been studying yoga and its many aspects since 2005. She began teaching in 2013 and is a graduate of Rishikul Yogshala in Rishikesh, India, where she was certified in Classical Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga Systems. Brandy is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200.
Brandy teaches beginner, intermediate and Therapeutic Yoga for specific conditions. She draws inspiration from bearing witness to the transformational and healing effects Yoga has had on her life and lives of others. Her gentle approach to teaching promotes an environment that is relaxing and encouraging, empowering and fun.
Coupled with Brandy’s background as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and Red Seal Chef her classes are aimed at safely strengthening and stretching the body while supporting and stimulating each body system to deliver a complete and wholesome experience.
